Boil sugar and water for the syrup, add lemon juice, and let it cool.
Melt the butter and mix with vegetable oil.
Lay one sheet of phyllo, brush with butter, and sprinkle with walnuts.
Roll loosely onto a dowel and scrunch from both ends to remove.
Place on a tray and brush with remaining butter.
Bake at 180°C until golden brown.
Pour cold syrup over the hot baklava and let it absorb.
Note. Cover the phyllo dough with a damp cloth to prevent drying.
The syrup must be cold, and the pastry must be hot.
Since the dough is very thin, you must work quickly and keep it from drying out.
